How to make a zombie costume
The zombie is the costume that gets better the more worn out it looks: old clothes, a little tearing and some grey on the face. It is cheap, it is comfortable and it is impossible to get wrong.
What you need
- Old clothes you do not mind ripping
- Grey and green face paint
- Fake blood gel
- Dark eyeshadow for sunken eyes
- Sandpaper or scissors to distress the clothes
- A name badge from a day job for the story
How to put it together
- Grey base on the face, dark around the eyes, a touch of green at the edges.
- Rip and scuff the clothes, then rub a little dirt or coffee into them.
- Fake blood at one corner of the mouth, name badge on.
From things you already own
Your oldest clothes, torn a little, and eyeshadow for dark circles.
No makeup?
Torn, dirty clothes and the walk sell it; the face can stay as it is.
For a group or a couple
A zombie office, zombie prom or zombie team: everyone in the same kind of outfit, all worn out. The easiest group theme there is.
