How to make a party clown costume
The party clown is bright, loud and friendly rather than scary: your most colourful clothes at once, a red nose and some glitter. It is the costume for someone who wants the group photo to be fun.
What you need
- A colourful oversized shirt
- Bright suspenders
- A red nose
- Rainbow wig or bright hair clips
- Mismatched socks
- Face glitter
How to put it together
- White base across the cheeks, bright colour above the eyes.
- A big painted smile and a star on one cheek.
- Glitter last, and the nose on only for photos.

Leave the face paint: the red nose, mismatched socks and suspenders are enough.
